    Hi Eliot,
I happened to be near blue hill and stopped by your farm to see if you were about and to see your latest creation. I like your current version of your movable chicken house with its elegant and functional curved structure metal structure for the pull bar. I also liked the miny wetland ecosystem tucked in between the diverse blocks of plantings. Do you keep an inventory of your biodiversity on your farm? It looks like you would have an impressive number.

Thanks for your inspiring and beautiful ecosystem you’ve created. I enjoyed seeing it very much. I’ve been in Brooklyn for the past 12 years so my ecosystem is much smaller. I have about ninety pots of plants in my wood/art shop and on my roof and in the lobby of our building. I have a nice crop of figs that my studio mates are grazing on now.

    All the best,
Stewart Hoyt( I farmed in Barnet Vermont with Grace Gershuny in the eighties and wrote for NOFA Notes)
